hmm..ipoh mali eh?

Last few days had been quite fun, thanks to my two crazy yet superb friends

    LI LI

    JOLYNN

The things we did were just crazy and full of humor! LOL. They really made my days in Ipoh way fun-er and memorable. Those 2 days were just fantastic and with all the bullyings we did to Jo.

Out of the blue, Jo and I decided to bake after saying it for 1 year plus. One of our plans after SPM was to burn down my kitchen by baking and cooking, but we didn't manage to do it due to those cranky applications for this-and-that scholarship. Sigh... And so, we did go out to get the ingredients from a shop in town, behind Pasar Besar. Jo was so so amazed that a shop like that actually existed in Ipoh. pitiful.. We went back to my house, and started measuring and mixing...suddenly, when I wanted to put the mixture into the oven... the main switch in my house tripped and there's no current. After a while, Li came. What a good time for the switch to trip eh?

So, we're burning hot in the house and Li decided to drive out and go somewhere and we kept asking each other "where to??" and the reply Jo and I will give is indeed the ultimate answer of "dunno-la!" The fact that we super-super hate to decide on where to go and what to eat, and we saw the gigantic M or perhaps the golden arches and it really gave us a 'golden idea'! Li hasn't gone to the drive-thru McD's in Ipoh, so we decided to go there just to let Li experience the feeling of a drive-thru :D

And the following day, if I'm not mistaken, we went to Funny Mountain, the drive-stop-eat soyabean milk stall. Should've seen Jo the lost sheep there when we wanted to order..LOL.

I shall not expose more of Jo's moments or she'll probably come charging into my house..haha. Anyway, with this 2 person here, my life is superb.

Thank you JOJOkek!

Thank you Li Li!

hugs, anyone?

Hugging is good medicine. It transfers energy, and gives the person hugged an emotional boost!

You need

4 hugs a day for survival

8 hugs for maintenance

12 hugs for growth.

And, according to Sharon Lindsey ( I've got no idea who she is ) :

"Hugging is healthy: it helps the body's immunity system, it keeps you healthier, it cures depression, it reduces stress, it induces sleep, it's invigorating, it's rejuvenating, it has no unpleasant side effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug. Hugging is all natural: it is organic, naturally sweet, it has no pesticides, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients, and is 100% wholesome. Hugging is practically perfect: there are no movable parts, no batteries to replace, no periodic check-ups, has low energy consumption, high energy yield, is inflation-proof, non-fattening, has no monthly payments, no insurance requirements, is theft-proof, non-taxable, non-polluting, and is, of course, fully refundable."

Best thing is, even doctors recommend hugs!

"How important are hugging and physical and emotional contact for people affected by life - threatening illnesses? In my work, I have found that people who receive nurturing maintain a better outlook on their situation -- and historically, positive attitude is an important factor in long-term survival.
Hugging...make a difference in a person's frame of mind, and may
help their medical condition. Best of all, hugging has no side effects
and does not require a trip to the doctor.

I recommend at least one hug a day."

Mark Katz,M.D

Lastly, according to an unknown author : hugs provide stretching exercise to short people and stooping exercise to tall people!!

Those are some interesting facts about hugs which I found, and well, log on yourself to

At times in life, regardless whether you're in school, in college, at work, I feel that there are times when we really need a hug and trust me a hug can seriously be "the cure" for your bad days! I've had enough of experiences on bad days and hugs from your friends, not necessary real hugs, coz virtual hugs will do it as well. (but obviously REAL ones work better) :)

This is dedicated to all my friends out there. I might be a pain to you at times, but I seriously don't mean to hurt you. I might not be the ideal friend for you, but to me, you guys are the best-est persons I would like to have in my life! Sorry for not keeping in touch with some of you when I was away. Really looking forward to meeting you, all of you!

a hug

No moving parts, no batteries.
No monthly payments and no fees;
Inflation proof, non-taxable,
In fact, it's quite relaxable;
It can't be be stolen, won't pollute,
One size fits all, do not dilute.
It uses little energy,
But yields results enormously,
Relieves your tension and your stress,
Invigorates your happiness;
Combats depression, makes you beam,
And elevates your self esteem!
Your circulation it corrects
Without unpleasant side effects
It is, I think, the perfect drug:
May I prescribe, my friend,....the hug!
(and of course fully returnable!)

darling friends of mine out there,

due to the admission of my darling home PC into the 'hospital' for some 'organ-transplant', i can't use the streamyx with my laptop and because of this, i can't upload pictures. so, i'm terribly sorry. will put up loads and loads of photos soon k?

sorry

feeling miserable...

at times, i really feel as if my presence back home is not wanted. i dunno why but when i am with my friends, i feel lost and drown. i wasn't around for only a mere 9 months and i am already feeling isolated. i'm not blaming anyone for this weird opinion of mine but... it's as though you don't fit into your bunch of friends and (i dunno how to express this feeling)
i really don't wanna have this feeling in me but i can't help it!! argh!

i'm HOME!!

Indeed, i'm now back in Malaysia, in my lovely lil town of Ipoh. It's been more than a week i'm back and all I can proudly say "I survived!" :)
Russian Federation, or plainly known as Russia isn't as scary as you think it is. I've been in Moscow, for the past 8 months or so and I feel that it is a city, a beautiful and unique one and I feel there's no harm studying there. Just because it WAS a communist country, many people are afraid of it. Come to think of it, isn't China once a communist country as well? And why are there so many people visiting China from Malaysia?
For the past few months I was away, I'm terribly sorry for disappointing many of you by not updating, mainly due to the fact that my hostel doesn't have internet connection and we usually go to the largest McD's in Moscow which offers wi-fi once in a blue moon to de-stress and to chat with friends and family. Therefore, I promise to spill all about Moscow, which will be my "second home" for the next 6 years; and all the fun stuff I did alongside with my close pals there.

Keep reading as there will be loads of updates which I didn't post while I was there.

Attention friends of mine out there, if you people have holidays or a free weekend, do come back to Ipoh and I'll definitely hang out with you all! Contact me k? Same house number, same address, different hp number tho:)
